All Tomorrow’s Parties: Halloween On Capitol Hill

Friday: BUMP! at Showbox Market

Benefiting the Gay City Health Project and the Seattle Men’s Chorus/Seattle Women’s Chorus Membership Assistance Program fund, if there was ever a reason to up the ante on costuming this year, BUMP’s $1000 grand prize for the best get up is it. A slew of performers are slated to take the stage, promising constant entertainment and a non-stop dance party. Seattle Peach’s favorite among all the DJ acts on hand is the ludicrously lavish duo, Super Threat–Nark and Amoania. These fabulous freaks will have you dancing till you’re dead.

Doors at 9PM Single, group, VIP and Platinum VIP tickets are all available for purchase on Gay City‘s website.

Saturday: Capitol Hill Halloween Smash at Havana & L O V E T O N E at Vermillion

Yet again proving his place in the Seattle Peach 100, Nark is doing it up this year with a Halloween spectacular at Havana sponsored by the 4Evergreen Group. As witnessed by the Hey Tranny, It’s Tranny events during Pride the last two years, Nark takes extra special care to create a full throttle ambiance for his parties. Expect the most when it comes to decor, and do show the man some respect by going above and beyond when dressing up–there will be a costume contest with a plethora of delectable prizes.

Super Threat will be making their second appearance of the weekend on the decks Saturday night, along with DJ Riff-Raff. The notorious Lisa Dank will grace the stage for a perverse performance, and Jackie Hell will be bringing her own brand of grotesque glam.

The party starts at 9PM, $7 at the door, $10 after 10PM.

L O V E T O N E will be cracking off just around the corner at Vermillion, so best believe Seattle Peach will be bouncing back and forth between the two.

Sunday: Seance at Bruce Lee’s grave

Situated at the top of Capitol Hill right next to Volunteer Park, Lakeview Cemetery is home to the grave site of the infamous Bruce Lee (as well as his son, Brandon Lee). If you’re looking for something spooky to get yourself into without wilein’ out, bust out the ouija board and summon some celebrities.

Monday: Free parties at Highline, Sole Repair, and Neumos

Brite Futures and the Tempers are playing at Sole Repair, Champagne Champagne are playing across the street at Neumos and Highline is hosting a goth electro dance party. All free of charge! The streets of Capitol Hill will run red with the (fake) blood of chemically-altered hipsters.
